The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi (WFM) will unveil its new Strategic Framework during a luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the Old Capitol Inn, 226 N. State St., in downtown Jackson.
The Strategic Framework will serve as the Foundation’s roadmap for the years ahead, outlining a bold vision to advance opportunities for women, girls, and families throughout Mississippi. The luncheon will convene community leaders, advocates, partners, and stakeholders from across the state to learn about the Foundation’s strategic priorities, planned investments, and goals for creating meaningful, lasting change.
During the program, WFM will highlight the vision guiding its work, celebrate the impact it seeks to achieve, and discuss the importance of cross-sector collaboration in strengthening communities and expanding opportunities for all Mississippians.
“Launching this strategic plan marks an important new chapter for the Women’s Foundation of Mississippi. We are reaffirming our commitment to building a Mississippi where women and girls can thrive and where families and communities have the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed. When we invest in women and girls, we strengthen families, build healthier communities, and create a stronger Mississippi for generations to come. This strategic framework gives us a clear path forward, and I am excited about what we can accomplish together,” said WFM Executive Director Melanie Powell.
