The Mississippi Hospital Association (MHA) recently named Rob Coleman, CEO/Administrator at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, to the MHA Board of Governors. He will serve as the board representative for the association’s Prairie Council. The primary function of the MHA Board of Governors is to make policy decisions and to provide fiduciary oversight for the trade association.
Coleman has worked in hospital administration since 2010, first as an administrative director for emergency and critical care services at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center until 2015, then as assistant vice president for Mississippi Baptist Health Systems until 2018 when he took over at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Yazoo and Baptist Memorial Hospital-Attala. In 2023, he was named CEO/Administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi.
Coleman has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Health Care Administration. He is actively involved in the community, serving on numerous boards, including the Foundation Board for the Mississippi University for Women (MUW), the Columbus Orthopedic Board, and the Mississippi Trauma Care System Foundation Board of Directors.
Coleman has been married to his wife, Jessica, for 20 years, and they have two children, Carter and Elise.
