On Friday, February 20, the Mississippi Hospital Association, in partnership with the Mississippi Public Health Institute, will host a free Maternal & Infant Health Summit that will bring together hospital executives, clinical leaders, and public health partners from across the state. Both in-person and virtual attendance are available, and lunch will be provided.
This Summit will focus on actionable strategies hospitals can use to improve maternal health quality and outcomes, with an emphasis on safety, mental health, data-driven improvement, and cross-sector coordination. Participants will explore best practices, shared challenges, and opportunities for hospitals and public health to work together to strengthen care for mothers and infants across Mississippi.
In conjunction with the Summit, MHA and MSPHI will host an OB ED Boot Camp on Thursday, February 19. The class is limited to 12 participants, and there is currently a waiting list. To be placed on the waiting list, email Robin Powell at rpowell@mhanet.org.
