Rolling Fork is well known for its annual festival, the Great Delta Bear Affair. The event celebrates the town’s connection to the famous Theodore Roosevelt bear hunt of 1902. People come from all over the Mississippi Delta for a bear-y good time! To commemorate each year’s celebration, a local craftsman carves a large bear statue from a large log during the festival.
