Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership invites you to join us on Wednesday, August 30, at 8:30 a.m. for a discussion on safety in the city of Jackson.

GJCP is focused on promoting interests beneficial to businesses and the entire metro area region. With nearly half of our 1,400 members based in the city of Jackson and Hinds County, the entire region is concerned about safety in our capital city.

In partnership with the Jackson Police Department, Capitol Police, the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office, and the Hinds County District Attorney, GJCP is presenting a forum to help create clarity on how law enforcement agencies work together to address crime. With the recent passage of HB 1020 and the expansion of the Capital City Improvement District, GJCP believes it is important to explain each agency’s role and jurisdiction.

Please join us for the Partners in Public Safety forum for an honest conversation with the leaders of our local law enforcement agencies about public safety and what we as business and community leaders can do to support their efforts to make Jackson and the surrounding areas safer.

The forum will be held at the Capri Theatre, located at 3023 N. State Street in Jackson. It is free and open to the public.
