Something berry sweet is coming to the Mississippi Farmers Market in Jackson and the Genuine MS® Farmers Market in Brandon on Saturday, July 11. Shoppers at both markets can enjoy a taste of Mississippi blueberries, the state fruit, through a variety of blueberry-inspired products offered by local farmers and vendors.

In addition to all the usual Market options, farmers and vendors will offer a variety of blueberry-inspired products, including frozen blueberries, blueberry jam; blueberry jelly; blueberry juice; blueberry tea; blueberry breads; blueberry muffins; blueberry macarons; and blueberry popsicles.

The Genuine MS® Farmers Market at the Brandon Amphitheater, located at 8190 Rock Way in Brandon, will host its Blueberry Market Jubilee from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Shoppers can expect the following vendors: 5D Natural Farms; Amason Farms; Bailey Barn & Soap; Buckin RR’s Farms; Caked with Grace; Candance Simpson; Cooper Farm and Vineyard; DNA BBQ; Fresh Grown Farms; J&D Blueberry Farms; KGP Naturals; Land of Milk & Honey; New Ground Nursery; Primas Family Homestead & Farm; Puff Candy Creations; Red River Trading Company; Revived Roots; Sparrow Gardens; Sunshine Baking Company; and Two Dog Farms.

The Mississippi Farmers Market, located at 929 High Street in Jackson, will host its Blueberry Harvest Fest event from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the following vendors: 5D Natural Farms; Amason Farms; Amorphous Garden; Artillery Ridge Grower; BeeTree Meadows; Bread & Batter; Chane; Cooper Farm and Vineyard; Dandelion + Crow; Deaf Mama; Dutch Creek Goat Farm; Ellis Farm; Flavorful Fungi; Foot Print Farm; Fresh Grown Farms; Gaiennie’s Gulf Seafood; Heartbeat; High Heeled Hippie; Homestead Farm; Iron Skillet Brittle; J&D Blueberry Farms; James Sharpening Service; Just Vanilla; Livingston Spring Farm; Liyah’s Sourdough; Magnola Quail Farm; MSZ. Fancy’s Solutions; Reaper’s Southern Homestead; Sumrall Farm; Taylr’d Table; Viking Honey; and Wurmworks.

Event organizers say additional vendors are expected to participate in both farmers markets, giving shoppers an even greater selection of fresh, locally grown seasonal produce and other Mississippi-made products.

The Farmers Market Café, located inside the Mississippi Farmers Market, is open 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday. The Genuine MS® Store, also located inside the Mississippi Farmers Market, will be open 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday.
