Mississippi artist Katelyn Harbaugh will be featured in Culinary & Canvas on April 4th from 6-8 PM, a special rooftop art event series hosted by Pacesetter Gallery at the Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center, highlighting talented Mississippi artists and an art-inspired culinary and cockail experience.

The event will give guests the opportunity to meet and watch the artist paint, be first to experience and purchase Katelyn’s new collection of paintings, and spend time with friends and family. Each guest will enjoy an art-inspired chef’s buffet and curated cocktail as the sun sets in a unique setting overlooking The Refuge Golf Course and the downtown Jackson skyline.

This Madison, MS artist’s work reflects the landscapes, light, and quiet moments of life in Mississippi. Katelyn’s paintings often draw inspiration from nature and Southern scenery, capturing the colors and atmosphere that define the region.

The event is curated by Pacesetter Gallery, a Flowood-based gallery dedicated to supporting Mississippi artists and bringing original regional artwork to new audiences through exhibitions and community events.

Gallery owner Keri Davis founded Pacesetter Gallery to create more opportunities for Mississippi artists to connect with collectors and the public. The Sheraton Rooftop has a year-round collection of Mississippi art curated by Pacesetter Gallery for viewing and sale and Katelyn’s work has been included in the collection since it debuted in 2024.

“Mississippi has an incredible community of artists whose work deserves to be seen, supported, and celebrated,” Davis said. “Events like this bring people together while showcasing the talent and creativity that exists right here in our state.” The evening is part of Pacesetter Gallery’s broader effort to bring art experiences beyond traditional gallery spaces and into the community. Over 30 new pieces from miniatures and large works will be available for sale, including fresh works from the easel on the night of the event.

“April 4 is Easter Eve and this will be an unforgettable experience, perfect to celebrate with friends and family that are in for the holidays or for date night. I love the theme of the Mississippi Countryside and Nature’s Bounty and how it ties to all the blessings that can be found in our home state.”, states Davis.

Tickets for the event are $75, additional details and tickets for the event are available through pacesettergallery.com/events and through Open Table.
