The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum will host its annual Pumpkin Adventure on October 7-10, 14-17 and 21-24, 2026. Families can enjoy the fall tradition from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with extended hours for family days on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Every October, this family-friendly event turns the museum grounds into a pumpkin paradise, bursting with fun activities for everyone! Visitors can take a hayride through the scenic property, learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, enjoy a tasty snack after your ride and spend some time in the kid friendly corn pit. Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the National Agricultural Aviation Museum, the Heritage Center Gallery, and learn more about Mississippi’s rich agricultural heritage.
In addition to the hayride and exhibits, attendees can stop by the Pumpkin Patch to pick your very own pie pumpkin to take home. Seasonal treats and souvenirs will also be available at the Small Town Mississippi General Store, ensuring visitors leave with lasting memories of their autumn adventure.
Admission for the Pumpkin Adventure is $12.00 per person for ages 1 and up.
