The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum, a division of the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, is hosting its annual Spring Farm Days from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, through Saturday, March 9, 2024. This event offers several activities the entire family can enjoy, such as the Children’s Barnyard, agricultural exhibits, Small Town, Mississippi’s General Store and more!

The Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum is hosting the annual Spring Farm Days event from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, through Saturday, March 9, 2024. Admission is $8 for ages 3 and up.

“Spring Farm Days at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum gives guests the chance to learn about Farmstead life and gardening,” said Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce Andy Gipson. “With educational exhibits, food and animals including baby chicks, this event has something the whole family will enjoy.”

Visitors can explore the grounds and various exhibits to learn about farming, gardening, forestry and more. The Children’s Barnyard will also be open and includes a variety of animals like chickens, pigs, sheep, goats, horses and cows. Concessions will be available for purchase on Saturday. Train ride, hayride and carousel ride tickets will be available for purchase daily for $1.
