Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in the Gulf Coast and Premo Sabbatini, Vice President of Planning and Development at Ingalls Shipbuilding, is working hand-in-hand with the American Heart Association, a global force for healthier lives for all, to change that. Sabbatini will serve as chair for the 2024 Jackson County Heart Walk, a community campaign focused on engaging local companies, corporations, and their employees to join the fight against heart disease and stroke.
“As an active member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community, I am honored to chair the Jackson County Heart Walk,” said Premo Sabbatini. “At Ingalls Shipbuilding, we want to ensure the health of our employees, their families, and our neighbors. Partnerships like this one with the American Heart Association on the Heart Walk goes a long way to fulfill that pledge.”
“We are incredibly grateful for these leaders like Premo Sabbatini with Ingalls and the Executive Leadership Team who are stepping up to move the needle when it comes to heart disease and stroke.” said Christin LeBoeuf, Executive Director, American Heart Association. “Through the Jackson County Heart Walk, we are able to drive maximum impact through employee engagement and corporate fundraising. Together, we can save lives right here in Pascagoula. “
For 100 years the American Heart Association has saved and improved lives, pioneered scientific discovery and advocated for healthy communities.
