Delta State University will host Family Financial Fun Night on Wednesday, May 13, at Wyatt Gym, offering local families an evening of food, activities and financial education resources designed for elementary-aged students and their parents.
The free event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wyatt Gym on the DSU campus, located at 1003 West Sunflower Road in Cleveland. Dinner will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Family Financial Fun Night is open to K-5 students and their parents. The event is designed to help families explore basic financial concepts in a fun and engaging environment while spending time together.
Dr. Glendscene Williams, Chair of Accountancy, Computer Information Systems, and Finance and Professor of Business Law at DSU said, “This event is designed to educate families with students in K-5th grade about financial literacy in an enjoyable way.”
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required and space is limited. Families must register no later than Friday, May 8.

The event is being presented in partnership with the Mississippi Council on Economic Education and is funded by the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
