“I want to congratulate Leigh Bailey and Jamie Redmond, along with the entire Salad Days team on their successful efforts to expand their operation,” said Commissioner Gipson. “I am proud to have supported this project through the Mississippi Land, Water and Timber Resources Program. Salad Days is a prime example of agriculture related economic development growing directly from a Mississippi farm. This expansion creates opportunities for grocery stores, schools, other institutions and consumers to buy healthy, local products grown right here in the metro area.”
