The University of Southern Mississippi Alumni Association is excited to announce the 2023 Homecoming game will be Saturday, Oct. 7 as the Golden Eagle football team takes on the Old Dominion Monarchs.
“Following the success of last season, along with the momentum across all Southern Miss teams and the University as whole, there is no doubt this year’s homecoming will be memorable for Golden Eagle fans,” said Jerry DeFatta, executive director of the Southern Miss Alumni Association. “Homecoming is always an exciting time on campus as it provides us with an opportunity to reconnect with alumni and recognize those who have played a vital role in our University’s success.”
Southern Miss Homecoming events will begin Monday, Oct. 2 and continue throughout the week leading up to Saturday’s game at The Rock. This year’s signature alumni events will include the 25th Annual Alumni Homecoming Golf Tournament and the Alumni Hall of Fame Banquet – both scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6.
