Nonprofit organizations serving six South Mississippi counties have an opportunity to compete for a $20,000 grant as the Gulf Coast Community Foundation’s GivHer Circle has opened applications for its 2026 funding cycle.
Applications are being accepted through Aug. 17 from eligible nonprofit organizations serving George, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River and Stone counties.
The annual GivHer Circle Grant provides financial support to organizations making a positive impact in local communities. Priority consideration will be given to projects focused on child welfare, education and health.
The grant program also places special emphasis on nonprofit organizations with annual operating budgets of $250,000 or less, although other organizations and projects that meet the grant criteria may also be considered.
Organizations interested in applying can access the application and a variety of planning resources at GivHerCircle.org. Resources available to applicants include an application preview, self-evaluation tool, grant evaluation preview, budget template and frequently asked questions to help organizations prepare competitive submissions.
After the application period closes, GivHer Circle members will review eligible proposals and select the organization that will receive the 2026 grant award.
Now in its third year, the $20,000 GivHer Circle Grant is funded through contributions made by members to the GivHer Circle Fund at the Gulf Coast Community Foundation.
Eligible nonprofit organizations must submit their applications by Aug. 17 through GivHerCircle.org.
