As the first of the month approaches, anticipation builds for the upcoming Earth’s Bounty Festival, set to take place on Saturday.

Originally established as a local farmer’s market, Earth’s Bounty has evolved into a celebration of all things local, fresh, and unique. Attendees can expect a variety of offerings, including locally grown produce, honey, eggs, baked goods, and grass-fed beef.

An additional artistic element, known as “Art Farm,” will be featured on Front Street. While it is still early in the growing season, some produce, such as cabbages and red potatoes, may be available. Tomatoes, a sought-after item, are expected to arrive next month. Fox Hill Farms will be present, supplying grass-fed and grass-finished beef. According to Craig Wilkes with Community Development for the City of Meridian, “His meat is very good. It’s all local. It’s all humanely processed. And we’re very excited about having a local meat vendor.”

The MAX, a generous supporter of the event, will be offering a free membership giveaway every first Saturday of the Earth’s Bounty Festival. Attendees can visit the Earth’s Bounty table to submit their name and contact information for a chance to win.

The Earth’s Bounty Festival will take place rain or shine on Saturday, April 5th, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
